This is a charming family-run establishment. The cosy restaurant is housed in an old half-timbered building, and there are attractive and comfortable cottage-style guestrooms in both the main building and the guesthouse. The menu is dominated by home-style regional dishes, but there are also more sophisticated options. Apart from traditional fare (eg Zwiebelrostbraten – fried beef with onions), a well-devised set menu of the day is proposed, including dishes such as Arctic char, Riesling, julienne vegetables and pasta.
