This delightful restaurant is nestled in a spruce half-timbered building in the heart of Röthenbach an der Pegnitz, just outside Nuremberg. Modern interior design incorporating a rustic wooden beam ceiling creates a cosy atmosphere. You can feel commitment and passion here. Gerald Hoffmann, a well-known chef in the region and most recently head chef at Koch und Kellner, is in charge in the kitchen. His wife presides over the service, adding a soupçon of heartfelt charm to every interaction. There is a seasonally orientated set menu that is prepared using mainly regional ingredients. In summer you can sit on the terrace in the front garden. There is also a small hotel in the building.
