Located inside Brown's, a quintessential English hotel, this intimate restaurant is one of the most beautiful traditional dining rooms in London, thanks to the keen eye of hotelier and designer Olga Polizzi. Wood panelling and deep armchairs combine with bright splashes of colour, including animal-adorned wallpaper that pays homage to The Jungle Book, which was apparently written by Rudyard Kipling when he stayed at the hotel. The menu, overseen by Adam Byatt, is British with a Mediterranean slant, meaning you'd do well to order the homemade pasta.
