Owned by one of the villagers, this traditional-looking pub is not all that it seems; instead of walking through the door and finding yourself at the bar, you’ll now find yourself facing the open kitchen. Sit in the lounge for 'English tapas' or head through to the Cygnet restaurant, where fairy lights hang from the beams and art is for sale on the walls. Modern British dishes feature on two 4 course set menus – one vegetarian – and you can mix and match between them. Colourful dishes have interesting textures, temperatures and tastes.
