What’s the X factor at this long-standing French-inspired restaurant? The striking views of the Hudson River, of course. It took many months to bring this Yonkers Pier back to life and it now serves as a picturesque perch for this all-glass space. If the twinkling lights of the Palisades aren’t enough, the bejeweled crowd that holds court is equally dazzling. Start with a seafood crêpe stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallop and crab with sauce Américaine. The menu is largely European-influenced, but Chef Peter Xaviar Kelly spans the globe by way of items like pan-roasted Long Island duck breast seasoned with togarashi and served with a confit duck leg fried rice. Red velvet cake with mascarpone frosting and crème anglaise is a classic ending.
