Previously a church, Irenekerk (1891) is now a restaurant where design reigns supreme. The organ has been converted into a bar, dark brick walls surround you, and the new roof truss is magnificent. You can also see the impressive Sven Nijenhuis in action in the completely open kitchen. This place is all the more exceptional because of the way the talented chef draws on French cooking styles and innovative techniques. He really makes his mark with his exquisite sauces and meticulous seasonings.
