The exterior of this surprising “socialist-style” Modernist building decorated in bright colours is in sharp contrast with the more contemporary interior. Warmly run by owner-chef Mario himself (who has returned to the area where he grew up) and by his fiancée Franciska, the restaurant has just seven tables arranged in front of an L-shaped kitchen. Specialities here follow a modern Mediterranean approach in dishes where flavours are highly balanced and textures play an important role. The bread and pasta are made on the premises with ingredients purchased by the chef himself in the local market.
