Now run by the third generation of the Čarman family (opened by grandfather Danilo), this restaurant continues to offer cuisine that is much appreciated by its guests, with Nina at the helm in the kitchen and her brother Gašper front of house. The menu includes traditional dishes such as Loška smojka, Loška medla and Loška mešta (old peasant recipes from Škofja Loka – hence the adjective Loška – which are based on semolina and served with turnips, pork or potatoes), as well as a few more creative options that also have a regional flavour. Although meat takes centre stage, a few fish specialities from the Adriatic also feature on the menu.
