This is the youngest sibling of the famous Huto restaurant in Moema, one of the city’s main business districts. It follows the same format as the original – namely, seasonal Japanese cuisine with a focus on sushi. The decor here adds an exotic touch, including a small lake of carp in front of a beautiful vertical garden and a dining room with an attractive bar counter which provides the perfect setting from which to admire the chef’s culinary skill. If you opt for the Omakase menu, you can trust the chef’s seasonal suggestions completely; alternatively, the à la carte features standout dishes such as Hotateyu Uni, made with Canadian scallops lightly seared in butter and a dash of Spanish caviar, and the Wagyu carpaccio. The sushi is also very highly regarded – and with good reason!
