Having earned his spurs at some award-winning restaurants, most recently at Seesteg, owner and head chef Hilko Uphoffis, together with his partner Giulia Casto, is now at the helm of this smart restaurant located right next to the Michels Thalasso Hotel Nordseehaus, on the edge of the pedestrian/shopping zone. His classically French cuisine also demonstrates the odd modern flourish, as in the flambéed Chilean sea bass marinated in miso and cider. The restaurant itself is also inviting, with its beautifully bright, pared-down and modern interior, as well as its appealing terrace laid out in front of the large window façade.
