Decked out with crimson walls and red-checkered tablecloths, this is the kind of place where diners feel like they’re in on a delicious secret—and that’s no coincidence, as the name is Italian for “between us.”
Responsible for this Bronx gem's success is Chef/owner Marco Coletta, who runs this dining room, just off Arthur Avenue, with the precision of an air traffic controller and the passion of an Italian direttore. Refer to the wall-mounted blackboard to ascertain the night's offerings; such as the spaghetti alla chitarra that is made in-house and topped with two luscious meatballs and lots of pomodoro sauce. Only a few desserts are on offer, but we recommend a classic finish by way of the ricotta cheesecake.
