Formerly an army club for entertaining the U.S. army and assorted VIPs, this is now a popular restaurant serving mostly Jiangzhe cuisine with a few Beijing and Sichuan items. Though the décor is nothing to write home about, signatures like pork ribs in orange glaze, and sea perch in chilli bean sauce are impeccably made. Don’t miss their scallion pancakes loaded with flavours and aromas. Reservations are recommended, especially at weekends.
