Located close to the Dresdner Heide woodland, after which the restaurant is named, Heiderand now has Martin Walther at the helm – representing the fourth generation of the family to run the place (his parents are still involved). In this grand building dating back to 1905, diners can enjoy modern cuisine with an international slant. There are two set menus: wasser & weide ("water & pasture") and the vegetarian acker & beet ("field and beet"), each with three or five courses on offer. Wine pairings are available upon request. Tip: Tramline 11 stops just in front.
