Description
Situated in the Karst region above Trieste, this restaurant occupies a small house surrounded by trees, with an entrance directly from its outdoor patio. The cuisine here is local and seasonal and is announced at your table by chef Peter Patajac, an engaging host who will happily share his delight at finding just the right ingredient from local farmers who pay close attention to the natural rhythms of nature. Chatting with him is a real pleasure, enhanced perhaps by a glass of a good Slovenian red wine such as the delicate yet ample Vlkovin 2015, with its elegant spicy aromas.
