And that's to say nothing of the terrific cuisine, which comes in the form of two set menus: "Gaumenfreude" and (vegetarian) "Gartenliebe" – available in three to seven courses. The classic dishes – such as courgette flower, salmon soufflé, lemon thyme – bowl diners over with their excellent ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship. Under the tutelage of Claudia Schulz, the waitstaff are friendly, competent and well drilled; they also provide astute recommendations when it comes to drinks.
