A good option for discovering the essence of the Alentejo, given its location on a charming quinta surrounded by trees and vineyards (it also has two dozen guestrooms), with access via a private road that is well signposted from the village. Here, the focus is on traditional cooking with plenty of personality thanks to the use of organic ingredients grown on the estate or from meat from its own livestock (Alentejo veal, merino lamb, Iberian pork etc). A choice of wine-tasting options is also available, ranging from three wines on the Basic package to six, including tapas, for those booking the Flight pairing.
